Terms of Service
Last updated 28 October 2026
These terms cover using this website and arranging a flight through us. They are deliberately short. The parts that cost money — the price, what it includes, and what happens if the trip changes — are set out in writing in your charter agreement before you sign anything, and that agreement governs the flight itself.
1 · What we do
MagnateJet arranges private jet charter. Charter flights are operated by FAA / EASA-certified third-party operators. We source and negotiate the aircraft, we put the operator's name and that flight's safety rating in front of you before you commit, and we manage the trip from request to wheels-up.
2 · Estimates are not quotes
The estimator on this site works out a from price from published hourly rates, flying time, operator minimums and tax. It is a non-binding estimate, not an offer, and it does not include de-icing, catering beyond the standard offering, ground transport, peak-day surcharges, or landing and handling fees, which vary enormously by airport.
A quote is different: it is a specific aircraft from a named operator for your dates, at an all-in price, and it holds for the period stated on it. Aircraft availability moves hourly; a quote that has expired is not a price we can honour.
3 · Booking and payment
- Nothing is owed until you accept a quote and sign the charter agreement.
- Payment is by wire, card, or digital assets. The price is the same whichever you choose.
- Funds are normally due before departure; the charter agreement states when.
- We do not hold prepaid balances or sell hour blocks. Your money is not sitting with us between trips.
4 · Changes and cancellation
The operator's cancellation and change terms govern, and they differ by operator and by aircraft. We put them in front of you in writing with the quote — before you sign, not after you ask.
Times, passenger counts and destinations move; re-arranging them is part of the job and we do not charge for doing it. What we cannot do is absorb a charge the operator imposes.
If the operator cancels, you get the full amount you paid for that flight back, or an alternative aircraft if one can be found and you want it.
5 · Empty legs
An empty leg exists only because an aircraft is repositioning for someone else's flight. If that original charter moves or cancels, the empty leg goes with it. We say this plainly because it is the one genuine risk in an otherwise excellent deal: you are buying a seat on somebody else's schedule. Anything already paid is returned in full if the leg disappears.
6 · Route alerts and registration
Registering is free, commits you to nothing, and buys nothing. It means we have a way to reach you and know which routes to tell you about. You can stop alerts from any alert we send, and ask us to delete your details at any time — see the Privacy Policy.
7 · What we need from you
- Passenger names exactly as they appear on the travel document being used, and where the route requires it, dates of birth and passport details. A name that does not match is the most common reason a departure slips.
- Valid travel documents and visas for every passenger. We will tell you what a route needs; obtaining them is yours.
- Honest passenger and baggage counts. Weight is a safety limit, not a formality.
- Nothing prohibited on board. The operator and the captain decide what flies.
8 · Safety and the operator
We screen operators by ARGUS and Wyvern rating and include that flight's rating with the quote. The operator holds the certificate, employs the crew, maintains the aircraft and carries the insurance, and the captain has the final word on whether a flight goes.
9 · Responsibility
We are responsible for arranging your charter honestly and competently: sourcing the aircraft, representing the price and terms accurately, and managing the booking. The operation of the flight — the aircraft, the crew, the schedule on the day, and anything that happens on board — is the operator's, under its own contract of carriage and its own insurance.
Weather, air traffic control, airport slots and mechanical faults delay private flights as they delay every flight. We will do everything we can to recover a trip, including finding another aircraft, but we cannot be responsible for consequential losses — a missed meeting, a missed connection, a non-refundable hotel.
Nothing here limits any liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
10 · This website
The text, photographs, estimator and data on this site are ours. You are welcome to read them, quote them with attribution and link to them. You may not copy the site wholesale or scrape it to rebuild it elsewhere.
Nothing on this site is financial, tax or legal advice. The aircraft-ownership and tax material is background, not a recommendation for your situation.
11 · If something goes wrong between us
Tell us first — contact@magnatejet.com, or call the desk. Nearly everything is fixable by a person the same day. We would rather hear a complaint than lose a client quietly.
12 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], United States, and the courts of [COUNTY, STATE] have jurisdiction. Your charter agreement may specify differently for the flight itself, and where it does, it wins.
13 · Changes
If we change these terms we will change the date at the top. The version in force for your flight is the one in force on the day you signed the charter agreement.
