Privacy Policy

Last updated 28 October 2026

This policy explains what information MagnateJet collects through this website and in the course of arranging charter flights, how that information is used and disclosed, how long it is retained, and the choices available to you.

1. Who we are

MagnateJet arranges private jet charter. Charter flights are operated by FAA / EASA-certified third-party operators. We maintain desks in New York, South Florida and Texas.

Enquiries about this policy, and requests to exercise the rights described in section 7, should be addressed to contact@magnatejet.com.

2. Information you provide

  • Registration and route alerts. Your name, and an email address or a telephone number. Optionally, approximately how often you fly privately and up to four cities you usually fly from.
  • Quote requests. Trip details, including origin, destination, dates, passenger numbers and any requirements you tell us about.
  • Bookings. Passenger names, and where an operator or a border authority requires it, dates of birth and passport numbers. These are held encrypted and are disclosed only to the operator carrying the flight.
  • Payment. We do not hold card numbers. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; wire and digital-asset settlements leave us with the transaction reference only.

3. Information collected automatically

  • Usage. Pages viewed and their order, estimator searches, the referring site, and campaign parameters contained in the link you followed.
  • Approximate location. Country, region and city, derived from your IP address by our hosting provider. We do not retain IP addresses; each is converted to a hash that is rotated daily.
  • Device. Browser user-agent string and device type.
  • Network. The name of the network your connection belongs to, used to distinguish genuine visitors from automated traffic.
  • Business identification. We use a third-party service (RB2B) which may identify the organisation associated with a visitor, and in some cases a business contact at that organisation, by matching network and usage signals against its own database. This operates on most pages of this site and is directed at business traffic. See section 7 for how to opt out.

4. How we use information

  • To provide the services you request, including pricing trips, arranging flights and notifying you of empty legs on routes you have identified.
  • To communicate with you about those services.
  • For business administration, including accounting, operator settlement, and records we are required to retain under aviation and tax rules.
  • To measure and improve the performance of this website.

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on: performance of a contract with you; your consent, where given; and our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business.

5. Disclosure

We disclose personal information only as follows:

  • Operators. Passenger names, and travel document details where the route requires them, to the certificated operator carrying the flight.
  • Service providers, each acting on our instructions for a single purpose: Cloudflare (hosting and database), Web3Forms (form delivery), RB2B (the identification described in section 3), and our payment provider.
  • Authorities, where required by law, court order or border control.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose it to advertisers or data brokers. Service providers are not permitted to use information obtained through us for their own purposes.

6. Retention

  • Route alerts that have been stopped: deleted after 30 days.
  • Network addresses associated with an alert: removed after 30 days.
  • Passenger travel document details: retained only for the period the flight and applicable records rules require.
  • Contact records: until deletion is requested, or after three years without contact.
  • Website usage data: retained in aggregate. Because the visitor hash rotates daily, individual sessions cannot be linked across days.

7. Your rights and choices

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, its correction, or its deletion, and you may ask us to stop contacting you. Requests should be sent to contact@magnatejet.com and are actioned within seven days. This includes any record produced by the business identification service described in section 3.

Residents of the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, California and other jurisdictions with applicable privacy legislation may have additional rights, including to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We extend these rights to all users.

Every alert email contains an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not delete your contact record; deletion must be requested separately.

8. Cookies and local storage

We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking cookies. This site stores the following in your browser only:

  • whether you have registered, so that the registration form is not shown again;
  • the number of times that form has been displayed during the current visit;
  • your account details on the Live board, including your name and previous requests;
  • your language preference.

Clearing your browser's site data removes all of the above. None of it is accessible to other websites.

9. Children

This site is not directed to persons under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Where a minor travels as a passenger, we hold only the details the operator requires, provided by the adult making the booking.

10. International transfers

We are established in the United States and our service providers operate internationally; personal information may therefore be processed outside your country of residence. Transfers of personal data out of the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area are made under the standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

11. Security

Travel document details are encrypted at rest and are not displayed on internal systems. Access to customer records is restricted to personnel who require it. No system can be guaranteed secure; in the event of a breach affecting your personal information we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority as required by law.

12. Changes to this policy

Material changes will be notified to affected users. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
